So after a few weeks in Chaguaramas, Trinidad (which feels like a month), I’ve got the solar MPPT charger working again, the genset working again, the fresh water pump working again and now have an adapter to hook my 230v AC boat up to US 115v AC split phase dock power. I’ve also scribed the topsides and hull, removed all the surface rust from stainless and rebuilt-sealed a leaky chain plate.
I’ve two friends aboard as guests, Jay and Yvonne for two weeks and we were up at 3:00 am today, weighed anchor and were underway at 4:00 am. Now sailing North from Trinidad to Prickly Bay, Grenada and watching the sun rise over Trinidad off the starboard beam. Feels great to be on the move again, life is good.
